If you're planning a trip to Manchester, I'd recommend the Doubletree as a solid choice, especially for its prime location just minutes from Piccadilly Train Station. The spacious rooms provide a comfortable space to unwind after a day of exploring, and I appreciated the large TV for some downtime. The welcome drink was a nice touch, and the hotel staff were accommodating, even surprising us with birthday treats upon our arrival, reflecting their attention to special occasions. The breakfast buffet was plentiful with a variety of options - perfect to fuel up for a day of adventures. While the check-in process was a bit slow, the complimentary cookies and drink vouchers helped ease the wait. The Doubletree balances luxury with value, making it a practical choice for travelers.
